Product Description:
DEZOCRETE 520 R, a low-flow additive with weak fluidity, is a control-delayed setting retarder for mortar and concrete mixtures. It causes a controlled delay in the setting of mortar and concrete, preventing premature stiffening, thereby facilitating the ease of concrete placement and surface finishing.
The way of effect
"The DEZOCRETE 520 R retarder reduces the reaction rate between water and cement by affecting the growth of hydraulic products and reducing the water absorption rate of cement particles. The setting time of DEZOCRETE 520 R depends on the type of cement, water-cement ratio, and temperature. Cements with lower C3A and sulfate content are easier to retard than those with higher concentrations of these components. In cements with lower C3A content, there are smaller amounts of absorbed additives, leaving more retarders available to affect the hydration of C3S and cause a delay.

• Architectural concrete, reinforced concrete, pumped concrete, lightweight concrete, roller-compacted concrete, concrete pouring in hot weather, concrete for long-distance transportation
• DEZOCRETE 520 R, as a setting time retarder, maintains the efficiency of concrete during the pouring process over time in hot weather conditions and long transportation. Therefore, cold joints resulting from intervals in concrete pouring are minimized."

DEZOCRETE 520 R is recommended for use in the range of 0.2 to 0.6 percent relative to the weight of cementitious materials.
The consumption amount is determined based on the mixing design and specific requirements.
It is advised to conduct tests in the workplace with the available materials and conditions to determine the appropriate dosage of DEZOCRETE 520 R and its impact on the properties of fresh and hardened concrete, such as workability, durability, setting time, and initial and final strengths.

• DEZOCRETE 520 R should not be pre-mixed or used with other additives without the manufacturer's permission.

Packaging:
DEZOCRETE 520 R is packaged in 20-gallon containers, 220-liter buckets, and 1100-kilogram containers.
Storage:
It is recommended to store the product in a dry place with a temperature between 5 and 40 degrees Celsius, away from direct sunlight. If the material freezes, the temperature should be raised to melt it and then mixed with a mixer.
Shelf life:
With proper storage and handling, DEZOCRETE 520 R can be stored for up to 12 months in its original packaging.
Safety:
DEZOCRETE 520 R is a low-risk substance. However, it is recommended to use protective gloves and goggles when handling it to prevent skin and eye contact. In case of direct contact with the skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water.
