DESCRIPTION:

Betocrete k10 is a crystalline waterproofing admixture for concrete that provides integral waterproofing and reduces water demand, while increasing concrete strength and durability. The admixture reacts with moisture and forms insoluble crystals within the concrete pores and capillaries, providing permanent water and salt resistance. This results in the protection of the concrete and reinforcing steel, increasing the lifespan and durability of the structure.

During concrete curing, if there is a risk of shrinkage and water ingress, the admixture initiates the formation of new crystals, filling the voids and ensuring waterproofing and protection. The admixture is composed of synthetic polymers produced under controlled conditions, ensuring consistent quality. It is added directly to the fresh concrete mixture.

DIRECTION OF USE :

Betocrete K-10 should be added to the fresh concrete mix.

It should not be added directly to the cement or dry mix.

Proper mixing should be ensured by using an automatic mixer.

 

Dosage:

The consumption of this material depends on the type of cement, mixing design, quality of materials used, environmental temperature, and technical specifications. Therefore, a test and trial error must be performed to determine the appropriate consumption level. The approximate consumption rate is between 2% and 3% of the cement weight.

Cleaning:

All tools and equipment can be easily cleaned with water.

 

The storage:

The material can be stored in its original packaging for up to 12 months without degradation, as long as it is kept at room temperature and away from high and low temperatures. The material does not produce any harmful fumes during use.

Packaging:

The powdered form of the material is packaged in 25-kilogram bags, while the liquid form is packaged in 20-liter or 220-liter cans.
