BETOGARD SF-127

Super elastic two-component insulation, modified cement-acrylic base

Description:

BETOGARD SF-127 is a two-component coating based on modified cementitious and acrylic compounds, super elastic, suitable for sealing and protecting concrete and plaster surfaces on internal and external surfaces under pressure.

Indications:

• Sealing under pressure of swimming pools and water tanks

• Sealing horizontal and vertical surfaces in indoor and outdoor environments

• Protection and sealing of buried dioramas, retaining walls and basements

• Sealing terraces, toilets, kitchens and bathrooms

• Protection of foundation concrete and walls against salt, carbonation, sulfate and water

• Insulation and sealing of roof gardens and gardens

• Sealing of tunnels and ponds

Advantages and features:

• Resistant to soil containing chlorine

• Creation of a uniform and flexible waterproofing layer, with high adhesion, under tiles and mortar

• Resistance to salt and chemicals in the soil.

• Sealing surfaces with lasers and movement

• Very flexible without cracking

• Creating bridges on cracks up to 0.92 mm wide and 2 mm thick

• The possibility of vapors escaping from the concrete to the outside of the cover

• Long execution time with low limit

• Easy application (cold)

• Can be used in drinking water tanks

• Integrated sealing, without seams and cold joints

Method of Use:

Surface preparation: The surface must be free from all weak materials, dust, mold oil, paint, mud, etc. In general, the surface should be cleaned of any materials that prevent adhesion. Broken and damaged concrete must be removed before applying the repaired coating, as well as weak concrete and mortar. The work surface must be smooth and without porosity. Pores and static cracks should be repaired and filled using mortar containing latex adhesive or Dezosive 1010 cement base repairer. The execution surface should be saturated with a dry surface by moistening. At the corners of the joints, after applying the first layer of BETOGARD SF-127, using BETOSIVE WM waterproofing repair mortar, it should be stretched and protected, and then the second layer should be applied.

Procedure:

Pour the powder part of the product into a clean bucket or container and slowly add the liquid part of the product to it and mix it at the same time by stirring on low speed. Continue mixing for 3 to 5 minutes until a uniform and homogeneous mixture without precipitation is obtained. Apply BETOGARD SF-127 prepared after mixing with a brush in two to three layers on the surface.

When performing with a brush, the layers should be applied perpendicular to each other. The second layer should be applied while the first layer is hardening and before it dries. The surface must be moistened before applying the second layer. You can use the prepared mixture for two hours.

Dosage:

1 to 1.5 kg of mixture per square meter should be applied in each layer and at least two layers are required. For more protection, three layers can be applied.

Packaging, duration and storage conditions:

• 30 kg set (powder component A: 20 kg bag, liquid component B: 10 kg gallon)

• 12 months in original packaging.

• Store in a dry environment at a temperature of 5 to 35 degrees Celsius. Protect from high heat and frost.

Equipment cleaning:

Used equipment and supplies should be washed with water immediately after use. If the mortar dries on the cleaning equipment, it will be possible only by mechanical methods.

Warnings and limitations:

• Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

• When the operation is carried out in hot weather or exposed to wind, in the first layer, 10% of the weight of the liquid, clean water, can be used.

• It should not be used during frost and rain.

• Protect from direct sunlight, frost, rain, traffic and extreme humidity on external surfaces for up to 24 hours.

• Do not apply coating in air and surface temperatures below 5 degrees Celsius and above 45 degrees Celsius.

• When the surface is not damaged by traffic, you can apply tiles or mortar.

Safety tips:

Avoid contact with eyes and skin and wash your hands after use. In case of contact with eyes, skin or swallowing, consult a doctor immediately or refer to the safety section of the data sheet. Close the lid of the container when not in use and keep it out of the reach of children.

Maintenance:

The storage period is 12 months in the original packaging and in proper conditions. If you need more information, contact Iran's technical and specialized concrete clinic.
