Method of Use:
Concrete surface preparation:
The surface must be dry and free from all weak materials, dust, mold oil, paint, mud and any other materials that cause poor adhesion. For this, you must use the sub system or mechanical or electrical wires. All loose concrete and pollution must be removed from the surface. Before applying, the surface must be saturated and free of excess water.
Preparation of the metal surface:
The surface must be dry and free from all weak materials, dust, mold oil, paint, mud and any other materials that cause poor adhesion. For this, the sandblasting system should be used.
Procedure:
25 kg of BETOGARD C-70 product should be mixed with 5.5 to 6 liters of water and mixed for 4 minutes using a low speed mixer to create a homogeneous product. Then leave the mixture for 4 minutes and mix it again for 30 seconds and apply it on the surface using a brush, roller or spray system.
Protection of rebars against corrosion:
BETOGARD C-70 with a thickness of 1 mm is applied on the surface of the rebars using a brush or spray. After 4 hours of 5 hours, the second layer with the same thickness is applied on the surface. After 4 to 5 hours, it is possible to apply the repair mortar.
Concrete bonding primer and repair mortar: BETOGARD C-70 with a thickness of 1 mm is applied on the concrete surface using a brush or spray. If the permeability of the concrete surface is high, apply the second layer after 3 to 4 hours. Repair mortar must be applied within 30 minutes of applying BETOGARD C-70 (before the surface dries).
Dosage:
1.55 kg of dry powder is needed to prepare 1 liter of mixture. As a primer, 1.5 to 2 kg of dry powder is used for each square meter.
Packaging, duration and storage conditions:
• 25 kg bags.
• 12 months in original packaging.
• Store in a dry environment at a temperature of 5 to 35 degrees Celsius. Protect from high heat and frost.
Equipment cleaning:
Used equipment and supplies should be washed with water immediately after use. If the mortar dries on the cleaning equipment, it will be possible only by mechanical methods.
Warnings and limitations:
• The prepared mortar should be used for a maximum of 60 minutes at a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius and 40 to 45 minutes at a temperature of 30 degrees Celsius.
• May be harmful in contact with skin.
• Avoid running in rainy and frosty conditions.
• After application, until completely dry, protect against frost, rain, traffic and extreme humidity.
•Avoid applying mortar at temperatures below 5°C and above 35°C.
Safety tips:
Avoid contact with eyes and skin and wash your hands after use. In case of contact with eyes, skin or swallowing, consult a doctor immediately or refer to the safety section of the data sheet.
Close the lid of the container when not in use and keep it out of the reach of children.
Maintenance:
