Product Description:
BETOSIVE 1030 is a mortar composed of mineral powders, plasticizers, and anti-shrinkage agents, accompanied by the intermediate adhesive BETOBOND SA 12. It is used as a surface mortar for cement, concrete, and stone.
- Concrete resurfacing for exposed concrete that requires maintaining the concrete shape.
- Concrete work on concrete surfaces before painting in concrete structures such as refineries, petrochemical plants, water and wastewater facilities, building facades, and restoration of artworks.
- Crack repair in indoor swimming pool surfaces before painting, and smoothing work on mosaic and stone surfaces before installing parquet and carpet.
- Ability to accept various epoxy, polyurethane, and acrylic paints in various industrial projects.
- Suitable for filling joints in precast components, cement boards, or drywall with acrylic mesh or fiberglass.

The product is a white-beige colored powder with a specific gravity of 1.5 kg/l and a high pH.
The preparation process involves the following steps:
- Concrete and cement surfaces should be cleaned of environmental contaminants using mechanical tools.
- Any excess material on the surface of the concrete should be removed with a stone grinding tool.
- Existing cracks on the surface should be opened up using mechanical tools.
- Areas with bolts, damaged concrete, and concrete irregularities should be repaired and smoothed with modified mortars containing polymer DEZOSIVE 1020 before applying BETOSIVE 1030.
- The thickness of BETOSIVE 1030 should not exceed 2 millimeters. In areas requiring additional mortar, allow a 5-hour interval between layers.
- BETOSIVE 1030 is used for painting similar to mortar work.
The manufacturing process of BETOSIVE 1030 (cementitious mortar) involves:
- BETOSIVE 1030 powder is produced in two colors, beige and white.
- To create BETOSIVE 1030, in the first step, choose an adhesive like BETOBOND SA 12 or DEZOBOND P-2200 based on the application.
- Mix BETOBOND SA 12 or DEZOBOND P-2200 adhesive with water in a ratio of 30 to 50%, then combine it with BETOSIVE 1030 powder.
The prepared concrete slurry, due to its cementitious base, will remain usable for one hour.
Before applying the BETOSIVE 1030, a primer should be applied to the concrete surface using a brush, which consists of one part bonding agent and three parts water.
To achieve a uniform color for BETOSIVE 1030, a combination of beige and white powder can be used.
Performance:
- All contaminants should be removed from the work surface.
- Due to the thin application, the surface should be protected from sunlight, rapid drying, and can be worked on in the evening or shade.
- After a few hours, moisten the surface with a damp brush.
- The suitable temperature for applying this product is between 10 to 35 degrees Celsius.
- Store the adhesive and powder in a dry and cool place in warm weather.
- During cold and freezing weather, if the ambient temperature is below zero, there is a risk of damage to the mortar.
- In cold weather, the ambient temperature can be maintained at around 30 degrees for protection.
Consumption:
The consumption of BETOSIVE 1030 depends on the surface preparation. For a thickness of up to 2 millimeters, approximately 2 to 3 kilograms per square meter is required. For concrete work as a smoothing and filling of cracks, approximately 500 to 1500 grams per square meter is needed. The consumption of the adhesive BETOBOND SA 12 is about 10% of the weight of the powder used.
Packing:
BETOSIVE 1030 is packaged in 20 or 25-kilogram bags.
Storage:
Store in a dry and cool environment, away from direct sunlight.
Shelf Life:
In a covered and cool environment and in the original packaging, it is usable for up to 12 months.
