Dezoseal LA 4000 is a lithium silicate-based compound with a solid material concentration of 7%. It penetrates into concrete to harden it, increase mechanical and abrasion resistance, as well as provide waterproofing and protection.

Dezoseal LA 4000 is a lithium silicate-based compound with a solid material concentration of 7%. It penetrates into concrete to harden it, increase mechanical and abrasion resistance, as well as provide waterproofing and protection. The physical and chemical specifications of Dezoseal LA 4000 include:

- Appearance: Clear liquid

- Purity: Over 99%

- pH: 10.5 to 12

- Weight ratio of Li2O to Si2O: 1 to 8

- Molar ratio of Li2O to Si2O: 1 to 4

Surface Preparation:

For old concrete surfaces, the surface must be cleaned of any contamination and oil. This can be done using a concrete surface grinding system. The grinding should continue until the surface is free of any contamination and weak concrete.

For new surfaces, the concrete should be ground to the extent that a uniform and clean surface is achieved.

Application of Dezoseal LA 4000:

Due to the high absorption capacity of the product with carbon dioxide, the product should be stored in a sealed container and only opened at the time of use.

For spraying, a sprayer with a maximum pressure of 2 bars should be used. The spraying speed of Dezoseal LA 4000 should be around 1 liter per minute, ensuring the surface is thoroughly wetted without the liquid pooling or running on the concrete surface.

The surface should remain uniformly wet for 20 to 30 minutes. This requires multiple successive spraying applications.

To ensure uniform wetting, a hand-held T-shaped tool can be used to spread the Dezoseal LA 4000 during spraying.

Curing of Dezoseal LA 4000:

After application, the surface should be protected from dust, dirt, and wind for 12 hours, and then left to dry completely.

Final Polishing:

After the 12-hour curing period, the surface should be ground and polished using a sander.

Key Application Notes:

The coverage of Dezoseal LA 4000 depends on the quality and porosity of the concrete surface, with an average of 2 to 4 square meters per kilogram.

For concrete grinding, 3000-grit sandpaper is recommended. Using a felt-based sander after can provide a higher gloss.

For small areas, a brush or roller can be used instead of spraying.

A low-pressure sprayer, such as a hand-held sprayer, must be used for spraying Dezoseal LA 4000.

The first and second application stages should be carried out in an enclosed space, away from direct sunlight and wind.

Appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves, mask, and suitable footwear, should be used when applying Dezoseal LA 4000.

 

Storage Conditions:

In the original packaging, maintain a temperature between 15 to 40 degrees Celsius, away from direct sunlight and in a dry environment.

Packaging:

Dezoseal LA 4000 is available in packages of 20 and 220 kilograms.
