TILEBOND 3600
FLEXIBLE THIN BED MORTAR
DESCRIPTION
TILEBOND 3600 is a high performance, cementitious tile adhesive with extended open time and reduced slip for installing all types of ceramic tiles, mosaics, stones, etc on interior and exterior walls and floors.
FIELD OF APPLICATION
For placing and fixing ceramic tile coverings indoors/outdoors, in wet areas and vitrified tiles indoors. Also suitable on heated screeds application. TILEBOND 3600 can also be used for the fixing of marble and natural stone not tending to discolor.

SURFACE PREPARATION
TILEBOND 3600 adheres to all solid, load-bearing, clean, dry and moist surfaces free of substances which can cause separation. Remove any coatings with inadequate bonding strength. Depressions of up to 5mm depth can be repaired with TILEBOND 3600 the day before.
Prime absorbent substrates such as calcium sulfate screeds, lightweight concrete, plasterboards and gypsum plasters, sandwich type and fibrous plasterboards with E.M.BOND. Allow the priming coat to dry for approx. 4 hours.
APPLICATION
Stir TILEBOND 3600 into clean, clear water until it is completely free of lumps. Approx. 7 lit of water are needed to prepare 25 kg of TILEBOND 3600. Leave to mature for approx. 5 minutes and stir again. Apply the mortar according to the recognized rules of the thin-bed method. The skin formation time has always to be tested before applying the tiles. Apply by a notched spreader with suitable toothing to insure a contact area between mortar and tile of at least 60%. Fresh excess mortar can be removed with water, once hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

STORAGE & SHELFLIFE
Approx. 12 months if stored in a tightly sealed container, in cool and dry conditions. Use product in opened containers as soon as possible. Keep in the temperature range between +10°C and +30°C.
HEALTH & SAFETY
TILEBOND 3600 does not contain any hazardous substance to human health and the environment. However, it should not be swallowed and contacted with skin and eyes.
Rubber gloves, boots and goggles should be used during application. Accidental splashes on the skin should be washed with soap and water and any contaminated clothing removed. Contact with eyes should be avoided and if any accidental contamination does occur they should be washed with copious amounts of water and medical attention sought.
TILEBOND 3600 is not flammable.
