BETOBOND WRAP

Epoxy glue and gel using FRP fiber installation

Description:

An epoxy gel adhesive with high resistance and high modulus of elasticity, providing excellent adhesion to building materials. This product is a solvent-free two-part epoxy adhesive, ideal for impregnating and bonding fibers of conventional weight in reinforcement works.

Physical State: Gray-colored gel

Mixing Ratio: 3 to 1 by weight

Component Weights:

Part A: 7.5 kg

Part B: 2.5 kg

Theoretical Coverage: 800 to 1000 g/m²

Drying Time: 3 hours at 25°C

Tensile Strength: 30 MPa (after 5 days)

Operating Temperature: -35°C to +65°C

Adhesion Strength: 2.5 MPa (after 5 days)

Final Curing Time: 7 days (at 25°C)

Specific Gravity: 1.250 kg/L (at 25°C

Characteristics:

Excellent adhesion to concrete and most building materials.

Achieves excellent initial and final strengths.

Demonstrates excellent chemical stability.

Shows resistance to impact and vibration.

Contains color components for proper mixing verification.

Exhibits good moisture tolerance without the need for a bonding primer on the surface.

Easy mixing process, minimal odor, and safe for users.

Non-flowing and non-shrinking.

Does not crack or shrink during drying.

Application:

It can be mixed with silica sand and used as a repair mortar.

Suitable for vertical and overhead surfaces.

Application Method:

Mix components B and A together in the correct ratio and blend for 1 minute using a suitable mixer.

Surface Conditions:

1. Cut fiber sheets to the desired size using scissors or a knife.

2. Spread the mixed gel using a putty knife or a caulking gun on the prepared surface.

3. Place the cut fibers in the desired direction on the applied gel. Gently press on the fibers with a plastic roller to ensure the adhesive comes out from the fiber strands. The final surface should be uniform and smooth.

4. If the next layer of fibers is to be installed, this should be done 45 minutes after the first application at 25°C. If not possible, the second layer should be applied within 12 hours of the first application.

5. Apply the final layer as a protective layer at 0.5 kg/m² on open surfaces.

Storage:

- Store the product away from sunlight and prevent an increase in storage temperature. In tropical areas, it is essential to install air conditioning. If the above conditions are met, the product's useful life is up to twelve months. Failure to follow proper storage methods can lead to product damage or container damage. Consult the technical department of the Technical and Specialized Concrete Clinic of Iran for storage advice.

Safety Precautions:

- Like all chemical products, avoid contact with eyes, mouth, skin, and food. In case of contact with skin and eyes, wash immediately. Seek medical attention if accidentally swallowed. Close containers after use and refer to the safety data sheet for information on special storage or disposal of remaining materials.

Quality confirmation:

All products supplied by the Technical and Specialized Concrete Clinic of Iran comply with international quality standards.
